Street/Utility Department
The Village of Norris City is accepting applications for employment for a position in the Street/Utility Department.
Type of Work: Anything with the Street Department including but not limited to: gas utility, water maintenance ect. Work would be repairing/replacing water meters/lines, including natural gas (training included).
Benefits: Health Insurance, IMRF, Life Insurance Policy, VAC (Voluntary Additional Contribution to IMRF), Air Evac, Paid Holidays, Vacation Days, Sick Days and Personal Days.
Hours: 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. including breaks and 1 hour lunch. Employees are “on-call” every four weeks which includes water/gas/sanitation checks daily. On-Call phone supplied.
Pay: $17.50 per hour and time and a half overtime (experience reviewed).
