Extremely cold weather is in place across most of the Midwest. Temperatures will be well below normal through Friday with subzero temps and wind chills possible before rising to well above normal temps next week. During this time, it is important to protect yourself from the elements and avoid any long-term exposure to the extreme cold temperatures which can be dangerous. It is also important to remember that only you can minimize the energy cost impact to your household or business by lowering the thermostat in your house during the extreme cold period to the extent you can do safely. A one-degree difference can have a substantial impact to your heating bill during this period. Stay Safe!
